Computer Aided Works is a business unit of iie GmbH & Co KG. We are driven by the will to digitize – we want to ensure that the value chains of our existing and new customers produce in a future-oriented manner – which means, in several dimensions, profitable – sustainable – socially responsible.

We associate innovative growth with the Computer Aided Works business unit. After more than 10 years, we are on the way to the future with our modular plant management system. This should also be reflected in our new, fresh appearance. As a young team, we develop customized, process-oriented automation solutions for manual assembly with and for our customers. Our motivation is the common passion and the fun in what we do.

The patented, continuously developed core of our system, the Autosynchronous Worker Guidance®, guides step by step, without manual intervention and thus process-safely through the assembly. You receive all necessary system components from a single source. With the modular kit of hardware and software, you can then get started immediately, depending on your requirements.

Our company chronicle
In 1974 Ekkehard Kreß started as a freelance developer in Munich and founded the company “Ingenieurbüro für Informatik und Elektronik – iie”, focusing on information technology systems. As an innovative development and manufacturing company, iie has focused on the development and production of electronic and mechanical assemblies of industrial and medical (IEC601/EN60601) systems for over 30 years.
