According to DIN EN ISO 9000:2015, quality assurance is the part of quality management that aims to create confidence that quality requirements will be met. There are different approaches and measures to ensure defined quality requirements.
We speak of static quality assurance, dynamic quality assurance and standardized quality assurance.

Quality assurance has existed in Germany since 1987, when companies began to have their quality management system certified according to ISO 9001.
