Collaborative robot

A collaborative robot is an industrial robot that works together with humans and is not separated from them in the production process by protective devices.
Cobots are mostly used in stressful, repetitive and dangerous tasks, in close proximity to humans to relieve them and improve qualities.
Proximity to humans requires that robots must not cause injury to humans. They must have their own sensors to prevent human injury. The robots automatically switch off when they touch obstacles. Fences and other protective devices are therefore no longer necessary. The fields of application of the cobots are diverse, and the programming of the tasks is structured in a mostly simple way.
